Play house for cool kids
A new baby is recently born? Do you wish to create a DIY project for you kid?
A wooden little house is surely an ideal solution: a funny play area but also a place where to relax and cuddle yourself. Minimal design, simplicity of assembling and possibility of customization once finished. Use wooden fir layers panels of thickness between 16 and 19 mm (¾” and ⅞”). PlayWood connectors with different angles will let you sharpen the house.
Materials needed:
2 | fir layers boards 24” x 16” |
---|---|
1 | fir layers board 16” x 12” |
1 | fir layers board 27” x 16” |
1 | fir layers board 35.5” x 16” |
4 | PlayWood connectors 90° |
4 | PlayWood connectors 105° |
2 | PlayWood connectors 150° |
1 | Allen key #5 |

Start by joining the longest panel with two 105° connectors, then add two 150° connectors and another wooden panel to this structure.
Doing so, you will obtain the first wall of the project and the roof. By adding two more 105° connectors to another wooden panel you build the second wall. Last but not least, add four connectors 90°, two per each wall and the last wooden board to create the basement of the kid’s house.
In few steps and a total of 10 minutes time, a DIY project which will be definitely appreciated by youngs and olds.
